Cody was previously with the Birmingham City academy and was a Walsall youth trainee.

He featured for Alvechurch in pre-season ahead of the 2018/19 campaign before signing for Stratford Town in September 2018 where he went on to establish himself as a first team regular.

His arrival is timely as the Glassboys look to bolster their defensive options following the departure of Zac Foster.
