STOURBRIDGE FC are pleased to announce that Steven Beech has been appointed to the role of Marketing Manager.

He joins the Club with immediate effect after previously working with First
Team Manager Ian Long at Tividale through the 2014-15 campaign, which was
'Dale's first in the then Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South.

Having been appointed following an initial approach by Glassboys' Chairman, Andy Pountney, Steven says he's thrilled to be back working in football.

He commented: "I'm delighted to be here - this is a wonderful Football Club. I have always
wanted to get back involved day to day at some point, and the time is now right for me.

"When the Chairman called me a few weeks ago and discussed the opportunity with me, I didn't have to think twice, but I need to work hard because this is a level I've never worked at, or experienced before.

"Andy wants me to focus on 'driving' the marketing side of the Club forward, and I will do my best to meet those objectives."

The lure of the Club was also aided by the opportunity to work with Long for a second time.

He said: "I had a brief telephone chat with Ian when the Chairman had called and asked if I'd like to take up the role here, and he was very supportive of me coming in."

He is also keen to support the local awareness and development of the Ladies team, as well as the Club's Academy, Youth and Team Dudley sides.

"Some of those players are the next generation, and these are all areas I feel we need to support as much as we possibly can from a marketing perspective, because they're very important to the long-term future of Stourbridge Football Club in its entirety."
