Upon his appointment to Stour's social media team, Marketing Manager Steven Beech said: "I'm delighted to welcome Kieran to the team here at Stourbridge Football Club.

"Kieran is not only very talented at what he does with his social media content, but he's also a Glassboys' supporter. He holds a strong affinity for the football club - that was quite clear from the conversation we had yesterday (Saturday).

"He lives up the road in Wollaston, both he and his Dad are season ticket holders who have attended games together for the past five seasons.

"The club page already has near on 2,300 followers, so we are already in a very strong position from that point of view. However, we want to expand on those numbers now we're all working together. Kieran will be a great asset to the club, of that I have no doubt."

A further Instagram page has been created for the Stourbridge Ladies team - Stourbridge.FC.Ladies, and you can follow the respective page by clicking the following link:

"Mark Wear (Ladies Operations Manager) will oversee the content on the ladies account, so Kieran and Mark will have full control of those pages for the upcoming 2020-21 season," added Beech.

"We needed to improve certain areas of what we were doing from a social media point of view, and this now completes the 'set' from my perspective.

"The club now has the official website, our Facebook page, Twitter pages for the club and affiliated teams, as well as the new Instagram accounts. This means we are now serving all the demographics of our fan base, and the timing is also extra poignant with the reopening of the Glassboys Bar next weekend, so we can advertise what we're doing from a social point of view across all platforms.

"We've also recently advertised for matchday club photographers, and I hope to bring in some further new faces to compliment what we already have in the coming weeks ahead of the new season."
