The 6ft 3 ins. tall central defender came to prominence at Stourport Swifts where he spent several seasons before agreeing a move to Hereford FC in early September 2015. He impressed many with his commanding displays at the back as the Bulls went on to land three trophies including the Midland Football League Premier Division title and League Cup. He also played at Wembley Stadium in the FA Vase Final in May 2016 where Hereford were beaten 4 - 1 by Morpeth Town.
In October 2016 he signed for Alvechurch and was a key player at Lye Meadow under Ian Long's management, helping the north Worcestershire club to two successive promotions as they rose from step 5 (with the winning of the MFL Premier Division) to make it through to step 3 at the first attempt as runners-up in the NPL Premier Division South and then the Southern League Premier Division Central play-off final last season after qualifying for the play-offs.
He opted to remain at Alvechurch for the start of the current campaign but has now taken the plunge following another approach from the Glassboys.
Jamie marked his Stourbridge debut with the opening goal of the afternoon but couldn't prevent the Glassboys from falling to a 2 - 3 defeat at AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
The 27-year old becomes the 13th player to make the move from Alvechurch to Stourbridge since May, although Zac Foster and Mitch Botfield have since moved back to Lye Meadow.
