Matt, whose international clearance came through in time for him to make his debut in Saturday's 5-1 win against Hyde United, is the son of former Coventry City, Celtic and Scotland keeper Jonathan Gould, now Goalkeeping Coach at West Bromwich Albion, and the grandson of ex-Baggies manager Bobby Gould.
22-year old Matt began his career with Hawke's Bay United in New Zealand, where Jonathan was manager. He signed for Cheltenham Town in the summer of 2014, but after spending some time on loan at Bishop's Cleeve was released at the end of last season when the Robins were relegated from the Football League.
Matt joined Livingston of the Scottish Championship for the start of the current season, but his chances have been limited, and he has recently spent a month on loan at Stenhousemuir.
We would like to welcome Matt to Stourbridge, and we hope he enjoys a long and successful spell with the Glassboys!
