The 36 year old, who is also comfortable in defence, is well known in the non league circle and lists a number of midland clubs on his CV including Leamington, Hednesford, Brackley Town, Stafford Rangers and Redditch United.
He then became a key part of the promotion winning side that saw Rushall Olympic reach the national league north and he links back up with Liam McDonald and his staff as we look to push towards the play off places.
After leaving The Pics, he had a spell with Sporting Khalsa before joining Alvechurch and eventually becoming assistant manager with Jimmy Fry which saw them guide Alvechurch to safety last term.
He departed Lye Meadow at the end of November and has since turned out for Boldmere St Micheals however he now returns to step 3 football after making the switch to Amblecote.
Speaking on his latest addition, Liam McDonald said “We are missing experience as we have one of the youngest sides in the division.
I think batch who has been a previous captain of mine in the past and knows what it takes to be at the top end of this division will aid the younger players.
He’s not only a strong player on the pitch but fantastic off it.
The younger players will learn a lot about how to win and his appetite hasn’t changed since the day I met him, he’s a winner.
I’m excited to work with him again and there is already a good bounce within the group!”
Welcome (back) to The Glassboys, Batch!
