The Glassboys went down to a 3 - 0 defeat at Salisbury City on the opening day of the season. The Wiltshire side underlined why they are regarded as many peoples title favourites and after leading 1 - 0 at the break following a nip and tuck opening half, two stunning second half strikes within twelve minutes of the re-start saw Salisbury run out comfortable winners.
Stourbridge now face two 'home' games in the next week and will be keen to put points on the board

AND ANOTHER NEW SIGNING!!
After the 5 - 1 win at Stourport Swifts in our final pre-season game, Glassboys boss Gary Hackett sealed the signing of right-back or central defender PAUL MCCONE who played and scored in the win at Walshes Meadow.
Paul, is aged 18 and lives in Pedmore. He played for the Wolves youth team, but was released this summer. He had been on trial at Kidderminster Harriers earlier in pre-season, but after not being offered a deal, the Glassboys management team moved smartly to bring the teenager on board.
CLUB MERCHANDISE
We now have in stock a limited number of our 2010/11 home replica shirts as featured on the club's new facebook page and also in the Stourbridge News. The cost is £32 for junior sizes and £35 for adult sizes. Orders for away shirts or for short sleeved home shirts can also be made with the delivery time usually between 2 and 3 weeks.
Also available to order now are Nike branded Stourbridge FC polo shirts and the club are also looking to order on request Stourbridge FC fleeces thanks to our new tie-in with SOCCERKINGS of Amblecote.
