Glassboys midfielder LEON BROADHURST is now just one appearance away from clocking up his 300th appearance for Stourbridge. That landmark could be achieved at Bedford on Thursday night, if selected.
YOUTH TEAM SUFFER RARE LOSS
The Glassboys youth team were beaten 2 - 1 away at Nuneaton Town in the MFYL League Cup on Wednesday night. They trailed by two goals at the break, but Myles Nettleford managed to pull one back in the 2nd half, however it wasn't enough to force extra-time and Dave King's side suffered only their second defeat of the season.
BIRMINGHAM SENIOR CUP SEMIS DRAWN
The draw for the semi-finals of the Birmingham Senior Cup was announced on Wednesday morning and Stourbridge will be at HOME to the winners of the tie between NUNEATON TOWN and LEAMINGTON that is due to be played later this month.
In the other semi-final ROMULUS are at home to ALVECHURCH who beat Wolves 2 - 0 on Tuesday night.
GLASSGIRLS REACH CUP FINAL
Congratulations to Scott McKee and his under 17's Ladies team who reached the Final of the Central Warwickshire Girls Football League Open Cup with a 3 - 1 win away at Leamington Lions on Saturday. |
