Peter, who was 29 yesterday, began his career at Birmingham City and had loan spells at Scunthorpe Utd, Boston Utd, Leyton Orient and Grimsby Town before signing permanently for the Mariners in the summer of 2007.
He made a total of 65 appearances for Grimsby over two seasons, including the 2008 Johnstones Paints Trophy Final at Wembley, and then had a further loan spell at Chesterfield before joining his home-town club Walsall in July 2009, making 30 appearances before being released in the summer of 2010.
Peter spent the 2010/11 season with York City in the Conference, making 41 appearances, and then linked up with another Conference club, Fleetwood Town, for the 2011/12 season, although his campaign was hit by injury.
From Fleetwood he moved on to Tamworth in June 2012 and then to Solihull Moors of Conference North in June 2013 before signing for Leamington in January this year.
Peter moved on from the New Windmill to join promoted Halesowen Town for their first season in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division, and made five appearances for the Yeltz before agreeing to sign for the Glassboys.
Welcome to Amblecote, Peter! We hope your stay with the club will be a long and successful one!
